Early Bird Walk

Join Sarasota County Parks Naturalist, Jen Rogers, for an early bird nature walk through upland scrub at Shamrock Park. Guests will learn about scrub habitat and have a chance at seeing the resident Florida scrub jays and gopher tortoise. Participants should wear appropriate closed-toe shoes for walking on both paved and sandy/grassy trails. Recommended items to bring are camera, binoculars, water, insect repellent, and sun protection. Meet on the deck at the Shamrock Park Environmental Center.
