Cork & Olive

Come out and enjoy an evening of fine wines, great food and unique holiday gift items to kick-off your weekend. Local artisans are teaming up with the Cork & Olive, located in Valrico at 3468 Lithia Pinecrest Road (down from Stein Mart) for a cozy Friday evening of holiday shopping and wine-tasting. Presented as “An Artisan’s Affair,” on Friday, November 13th from 5-8 p.m., four local artists will sell their creations throughout the store, while customers can sample wines & cheeses provided by Linda, manager of the Cork & Olive.

“An Artisan’s Affair” organizers – Karen Lameier of Wired & Stoned – Fine Beaded Jewelry, and Patty Sisco of Sketch and Sip by Gallery Clocks - are both very excited about this unique event. Karen comments, “We wanted to put on an event where some very talented local artists can display and sell their work, while providing our customers with beautiful gift options for the holidays in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. We also have Ira McEachern of Artsy & Funky Soul displaying her unique pottery and C.J. Caggia of Ceejalina’s Pasticciere. C.J. creates unique cookies, custom cakes and more and will have free samples of her sweets throughout the evening.
