The Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) is part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). FWRI) has provided over fifty years of service to Florida's people and resources. FWRI strives to provide the scientific foundation for management of Florida’s fish and wildlife resources.
