Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center in St. Petersburg is one of two premier educational centers that the Pinellas County Environmental Lands Division manages. Educational programming focuses on empowering citizens to make sound management decisions for the County's natural and cultural resources. The Center provides educational programs, interactive exhibits, specialty hikes, guided canoe tours, and other activities to the visiting public. Featured artist exhibits, a Resource Center, and gift shop provide visitors additional avenues to discover their connection to the natural world. Hiking trails, elevated boardwalks, paddling trails, canoe/kayak rentals, and a fishing pier are available.
