South Gate Center

The beautiful South Gate Center Social Hall—designed by Victor A. Lundy of the Sarasota School of Architects—rests on five private acres on the shady banks of Philippi Creek, just off South Gate Circle at Tuttle Avenue and Siesta Drive in Sarasota. This historic hall is available for rent for your historic occasion. It can easily hold 140 guests, seated at eight-foot banquet tables, with room remaining for a spacious dance floor. Of course, tables and chairs will be set up to your taste, according to your personal floor plan. There is a large, well-equipped kitchen available for catering use. In addition, wedding ceremonies may be held on our spacious lawn, overlooking the creek, with receptions held inside the building.
