Urfer Family Park

Urfer Family Park is a 55-acre natural area park with something for everybody. There are playgrounds for toddlers to teens, a paved multi-use trail (approximately 1 mile), and a primitive nature trail (unpaved, approximately 1 mile). The park encompasses three habitat types: pine flatwoods, forested wetland, and seepage wetland. A portion of the park is dog-friendly. There are fitness stations along the paved trail, many of which are wheelchair accessible. In addition to the recreational amenities, Urfer Family Park is also a great place to get out in nature, with great natural plant and bird communities on site. Two historical buildings, a small herd of scrub cattle, and a working windmill add a historical context to this unique park.
