Friendship Volunteer Center

The Friendship Volunteer Center is a program of Senior Friendship Centers. The Friendship Volunteer Center is the coordinating entity for such successful volunteer programs as RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), Mentoring, Brush-Up Sarasota, Disaster Volunteer Management, Florida Volunteer Certification Leadership Training and Bright Futures.

The Friendship Volunteer Center acts as a community based liaison working in partnership with community members, local foundations, faith based organizations, health & human services providers, and other disaster-related organizations and many departments of the County government by matching volunteers of all ages, talents and interests with non-profit & faith based agencies. Friendship Volunteer Center makes it easy for volunteers to find the right fit, whether it is for a one time event or a long-term commitment.
