SOS at Sierra: Save our Seabirds

Join us at the Manatee-Sarasota Sierra Club's General Meeting on August 13, 7:00PM to hear David Williamson, a local naturalist and nature photographer to discuss how our birds and other wildlife are affected by our actions and inactions, the types of birds you can see along the coast, and what the SOS sanctuary is doing to help.
He will also discuss the historical impact of humans to birds and wildlife in Florida since before the arrival of Europeans 500 years ago. Lastly, he will share his photos of our local birds in, and out, of the Save Our Seabird Sanctuary
The event is free of charge. Bring a dessert to share at the social afterward.
