Sarasota Italian Cultural Events is sponsoring a lecture and book signing by Brooklyn native and Oregon author, historian Dr. Vincenza Scarpaci. Her latest research has been published in a book titled, The Journey of Italians in America. Stories and pictures graphically depict Italians creating new lives in the face of adversity and sacrifice, to build a stronger America.
