The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. We do this by developing positive states of mind in meditation and integrating this experience into our daily life. Meditation is suitable for everyone and brings many benefits. By learning to meditate we can cultivate states of happiness from inside that are not destroyed by changing circumstances. We are able to reduce and remove negative mental states such as anger, stress, and dissatisfaction. We are also able to improve our concentration, peaceful minds, and have a more positive approach to difficulties leading to better relationships at work and at home.
