CHJ Sholom Aleichem Play Reading

Actors from the Asolo Rep Theatre Guild will present "The High School," a one-act play from the World of Sholom Aleichem, after CHJ's annual Purim service. The play is about a family's reaction to educational anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia. Performers include CHJ's own Sylvia Kolker as Hannah and Ed Popper as Uncle Max, plus Aslolo's Bill Body as Aaron, Zach Herman as Moishe, and Don Knode as the Principal. Miriam Ring is the show's Director and Narrator. An Oneg Shabbat reception follows.
