JAZZ AMBASSADORS

The Suncoast Concert Band’s 18-member Jazz Ambassadors Big Band, now in its 26th year, presents “Sentimental Swing.” Featuring the great names in jazz -- Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Les Brown, Thad Jones and others -- the program includes “One O’clock Jump,” “Begin the Beguine,” “Sentimental Journey,” and “The Lady is a Tramp.” The 90-minute concert also includes a Dixieland set with Joe Bruno and Friends and vocalist Nancy Carman.
