A book sale and history lecture will highlight the Friday, Feb. 24, 11:30 a.m. luncheon meeting of the Sarasota Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter at Plymouth Harbor.
Venice member and author Clarissa Thomasson will speak on "Southwest Florida History from 1503," highlighting the times from Ponce de Leon's first visit to the 1920s land boom.
Participants are to bring a sandwich and books to donate to the sale. Drinks and side dishes are provided. Cost: $5. RSVP Jan Hollister, 924-7379.
