"A Tribute to Ella: music of the Ella Fitzgerld songbook"

Join us for a free musical program featuring Sonny and Perley at Fruitville Public Library. Sonny and Perley will present a duo version of "A Tribute to Ella" highlighting music from her Great American Songbook recordings and selections from her days as Queen of the Savoy with the Chick Webb Orchestra. An intimate concert of vocals with piano accompaniment, including anecdotes from the Ella's Apollo Theatre dubut at the age of 16 to her retirement.
