Be a Habitat Hero

Join Sarasota County Parks Naturalist, Jen Rogers, for a fun volunteer morning in the mesic hammock at Pinecraft park! This area is an important resting spot for migrating birds during the spring & fall migrations. As abilities & interests allow, volunteer tasks may include trash collection and invasive plant removal. Be a Habitat Hero & help us maintain the habitat! Long pants, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and plenty of drinking water are recommended. Park staff will provide tools.
