Sarasota Bay Explorers, working in conjunction with Mote Aquarium, offers interactive, hands-on eco-adventures including the renowned Sea Life Encounter Cruise, Guided Kayak Tours, Nature Safari and private charters aboard the Miss Explorer. These tours are a fun and fascinating extension to any tour of Mote Aquarium. The Explorers offer cruises on Sarasota and Roberts bays that are operated by a U.S. Coast Guard-certified boat captain, narrated by a biologist and staffed by Mote-trained volunteers. Guests have the opportunity to experience life on the water and the potential to see dolphins, manatees, osprey and eagles in their natural settings while the ship's biologist explains more about these wonderful Florida natives. Mote Aquarium and the Explorers offer special combination package pricing and a variety of cruises throughout the day.
