Sunshine State Music Festival

Saturday, October 1, 2011 .Sponsored by the East Hillsborough Historical Society, Musician Charley Groth & First Florida Frontiers. Local, regional and state level talent will be performing a wide range of live music, including country, folk, old-time, vintage jazz, and bluegrass. Shows will last about 45 minutes, beginning at 11:00 A.M. and running through the evening. Performances will run on two stages simultaneously. Youth performances, jam sessions and storytelling as well as workshops on various musical topics are also being planned, along with a contra dance with the Morse Family Band open to anyone who wishes to participate. Food & refreshments will be available for purchase.

Admission for the entire event will be $15 for those 13 and up. Children ages six to 12 will be $5 and children five and younger will be admitted free.
