German American Society of Pinellas County

The German American Society of Pinellas County is a vibrant center to meet new and old friends, a lively place for German heritage, camaraderie, celebration and authentic German food. We preserve & promote German culture, heritage and traditions through celebration, education and contributions to our community.

We are a lively place to share experiences over domestic and German beers, wine or mixed drinks with friends and family, feast on great German food from our kitchens; a destination to sing, sway and dance to wonderful live entertainment.

Visitors enjoy a myriad of events year round. Our annual Oktoberfest is the most authentic Oktoberfest on Tampa Bay. Dance themes include Heimat Abend (Home Town Night) or Bayerischer Abend (Bavarian night)and some more main stream American like St. Patrick's Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Swing and more. Speaking German is not a prerequisite.

We invite you to visit and partake in our hospitality and share “Gemutlichkeit!” You will experience a warm feeling every Saturday evening, with old and new friends.
