The Suncoast Waldorf School will hold a Spring Carnival and Open House on May 16, 2009 on the school’s campus located at 1857 Curlew Road in Palm Harbor from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fun of a hometown carnival. There will be old-fashioned children’s games like the beanbag toss, pole fishing and the mystery box along with face painting and craft projects. The event will also include a talent show by the school’s students and community. Local vendors will be selling a variety of crafts, homemade items, food and drink.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour Suncoast Waldorf School’s campus and classrooms and view some of the children’s academic, art and handwork. The enrollment director and teachers will be on hand to answer questions and prospective parents can meet current students and their families.
Entrance to the event is free. Tickets will be sold for carnival games, activities and food / drink. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Suncoast Waldorf School. The Suncoast Waldorf School is dedicated to bringing children and families in the Tampa Bay area the highest quality classical education available. Its pure Waldorf curriculum promotes creativity, critical thinking, social responsibility and a lifelong love of learning.
