Guinness World Records

The Animal Network has been endorsed by Guinness World Records to attempt to break the record of the number of dogs doing a sit/stay. The record stands at 100. We need to have 101 dogs to beat the record. We will be attempting this at The Canine Christmas Festival. The sign up will be at the festival and it will take place immediately following the event at 3:00 PM. Please work on sit/stay training so we can make Manatee County proud again.

Canine Christmas is a fun festival for dog owners & their dogs, and people looking for a dog to adopt. Bring your well-behaved dogs on a leash and enjoy the festival events on Saturday, November 19 from 10 am - 3 pm (dogs must have current inoculation tag). It is a fun day that celebrates our relationship with our dogs. All proceeds are used by Animal Network, Inc. 501c3 for animal welfare in our community. This year we are promoting the No Kill agenda for Manatee County. The festival features rescue & shelter dogs for adoption; we promote spay/neuter program for dogs & cats, dog costume show, games, contests, pet pictures with Santa, 50/50 drawing, raffles, silent auction, vendors, Canine Christmas Cafe, & much more !
