Lakewood Ranch-Sarasota Elk’s Lodge B.P.O.E. #2855, located at 4908 Lena Road #104-105, Bradenton, FL 34211 is holding a fund raising event for PAWS FOR PATRIOTS on August 14, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Through the Paws for Patriots Program at Southeastern Guide Dogs we are sponsoring a Veteran Assist Dog. These are exceptional dogs placed in careers benefiting veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Gaining confidence from these dogs, veterans expand their lives, regain mobility and independence and re-integrate into their communities.
The event will feature a Lasagna Dinner with salad, rolls and dessert for $8.00. There will also be entertainment provided by Lynn’s Spins, a Chinese Auction, raffles and more.
