HENRY M. ROBERT III UNVEILS NEW EDITION OF ROBERT’S RULES OF ORDER NEWLY REVISED
St. Petersburg, FL – The National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), the oldest and largest professional association of parliamentarians, held its 38th Biennial Convention in St. Petersburg, Florida last month. One of the premier activities during the convention was the unveiling of the 11th edition of Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised.
The original Robert’s Rules of Order was written by General Henry M. Robert in 1876. One of the most notable authors of the most recent editions, including the 11th edition, is Henry M. Robert III, General Robert’s grandson.
Shirley J. Brodbeck, a registered parliamentarian, from Palmetto, Florida is pictured here with Henry M. Robert III. Shirley is First Vice President of the Florida State Association of Parliamentarians and Education Chairman of the Bradenton Unit of Parliamentarians that meet at 2 PM, the third Thursday of the month, at the Central Branch Library, 1301 Barcarrota Boulevard, Bradenton.
Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised is America’s foremost guide to parliamentary procedure and effective meeting management. It is used by more professional associations, fraternal organizations, and local governments than any other parliamentary authority.
Parliamentarians are available throughout the world to assist organizations with conducting better meetings, board training, and more. For more information about NAP visit www.parliamentarians.org.
