The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Gasprilla Island State Park will host weekly ranger led beach walks January through June, 2012. All programs are weather dependent.
Meet at the Picnic Pavilion next door to the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat, sunscreen and drinking water are recommended. The walk is about one third of a mile and will last approximately one hour.
